Wild Loon Winery
A Regenerative Micro-Winery & Mushroom Farm Integration
A New Chapter Begins
We're excited to announce that Frank Buncom IV and Alia Nikooforsat are taking stewardship of the former Meade Hill Winery, transforming it into Wild Loon Winery. We honor the legacy of Mike Lacefield and his family while bringing our vision of regenerative agriculture and innovative craft beverages to this beautiful 15-acre property in Smartsville, California.
Estate Wines & Mead
Small-batch reds from our 1.5-acre vineyard featuring Petite Sirah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Zinfandel, plus premium mead and innovative wine spritzers.
Wine & Mushroom Synergy
Unique integration with MushLoon, our medicinal mushroom enterprise. Creating circular economy: grape pomace → mushroom substrate → compost.
Regenerative Practices
No-till vineyard management, integrated livestock, pollinator-friendly plantings, and permaculture practices enhancing biodiversity.
